So lost in all of the post game celebrations and awesomeness I never had a chance to post this... At halftime, at my gate, I was able to go outside and get some fresh air. It was sectioned off, and I was told I couldn’t smoke ( hey no problem )... but they let us ( there were several hundred of us ) and that was all I’d asked for... so that being said a sincere Thank You to SUAD, etc for accommodating me and the others who love having that as an option.

For all the bitching I’d done about it, it’s only appropriate for me to recognize the effort to accommodate. Thanks again, Sincerely.

How many followed the no smoking rule out there?

I think they realized they needed to do something. During one of the earlier games my wife got a phone call from children’s hospital where our son Liam has been for a few months. She couldn’t hear inside the dome and had to go outside to take the call but the staff at the doors wouldn’t let her go out. They had to call and get a supervisor who she explained what was going on and she went out side with my wife and waited for her and brought her back inside. The week after that my other son got into a car accident as soon as the kick off happened and when he go to the hospital they wouldn’t treat him until they talked with me. Again I had to find a supervisor so I could go outside and hear. Knock on wood I won’t have to go outside for more phone calls but it is nice to know I can if I have to

Hope all goes well for you and the fam. Tough stretch.

Honestly dont think I saw anyone smoking .They had a random dude patrolling. I personally dont care if someone fired one up just grateful for the option to go outside. Tobacco is still a legal product deadly or otherwise. Users discretion.
