Clemson will sell out

People are talking about it People asked me about tickets today there is a buzz.

I hope so - I think the Dome is one of the best environments in college football when its full and the fans are into it. With the rate weve been going at id be happy with 45000.

if the game is any time other than Noon, we have a good chance to get close to sell out. A noon (or 12:30) kickoff, and I would be surprised if we even get close to 45k.

There were multiple times in the 90s where they announced games sold out all I can say as tickets were returned by visitors or they had singles. I know there were more then 4 games where you looked around and couldnt se an empty seat to me thats a sellout it may just be semantics.

Once I heard Marrone say the Dome only officially sold out once, I stopped worrying about sell outs.

See Butler NIT game where there were 8,00 to 10,000 people in the Dome and I couldnt even hear myself think it was so loud because everyone that went made noise.

Great point and I remember that game vividly. Such a great crowd, I sat in the pull out bleachers. I remember that punk from Butler taunting us fans as well, which made it even louder.

We are guilty of it on the basketball side. We dont want 30,000, we want 35,000.

Perfect situation setting up--team is on a bit of a roll, the casual fanbase is excited to see what Terrell Hunt can do, it's the first ACC game, and we're playing a top 5 team with a packed house that includes a ton of important recruits.

Really hope we put on a show. And I hope that the raucous atmosphere leaves an impression on the recruits.

I believe that we can be competitive with Clemson--I honestly do.

Our defense has been a mixed bag. The ostensible weak units -- DL and LB -- have been better than expected. The secondary, which heading into the season was viewed as a defensive position of strength, has underperformed.

We have an extra week to prepare, and Clemson has a tendency to play to the level of competition. Can we rise to the occasion and prove that we belong on the field with them, or will they run us off the field? Either way, we'll learn a lot about our team this weekend.

We need to really have a game of the decade performance on both sides of the ball to beat this team. This isnt Louisville or WVU of the past who we had played and were somewhat familiar with.

Te beau of playing Clemson is that on TV their fans will look an awful lot like Cuse fans. It will definitely make the place look as good as it has looked in years for a football game if the crowd pushes 46k
