Clemson will sell out

There were multiple times in the 90s where they announced games sold out all I can say as tickets were returned by visitors or they had singles. I know there were more then 4 games where you looked around and couldnt se an empty seat to me thats a sellout it may just be semantics.

I don't care about sellouts so much. If we can get to the average '92 level attendance of 49,318, who cares about sellout?

I'll be happy with anything of 45k or higher. Would I love a sellout? Heck yea, but I just don't feel it especially if we get a nooner.

if we sold 36k against Tulane with zero Tulane fans. then we are already at 40-41k with the clemson fans if the stories are true.

I just picked blue over white because there is ZERO white in Clemson. White and Orange can still feel "familiar" to them...

I was just being a smart ass. I thought the Pitino suit comment would have given me away. It should always be Orange in the stands. Always.

B) Clemson orange pants, white jersey, orange helmet
C) Syracuse fans will be 60% orange 40% blue
D) Clemson fans all orange

I hope this is like the tennessee game... but we gotta get our ticket sales up to 45k at least. I'm at college right now so I don't know what the buzz is like in Syracuse but I hope people are talking about it. The media, local news, needs to be pumping this game every night.

people get too caught up in numbers. There is no difference between 43,500 and 46,500. If the people that show up would just cheer it would be loud with 3,000 less fans. See Butler NIT game where there were 8,00 to 10,000 people in the Dome and I couldnt even hear myself think it was so loud because everyone that went made noise.

I was a student at that game. I'll never forget how loud it was for such a small crowd.

Sort of where I was going above. I love orange. I want it to be our dominant color. But since we have such a major blue presence now, may as well use it for a day...

My daughter is alumni, she just got her mailing regarding homecoming events today, that should spur some ticket sales this week.
