I don' think there is much relationship with P. Fran called P to seek his blessing for the job, to which (according to Fran) basically ammounted to 'gee I don't really know anyone there anymore and haven't been back in 15 years' I think that's the extent of it. D though, yes there is a deep relationship there

Both Coach P and Mac should have already been honored, but I’m in favor of making up for these in some form or order. Ben went in last year. Mac this year. coach P next year?

I think the university is doing a lot of these understanding they have time to make up. Think this is something John Wildhack has done a nice job of since he got here and realized how behind on honoring the history they were.

Long overdue and well deserved. Coach Mac is probably my favorite coach in any sport, college or pro. Just changed my avatar as a salute to a great man.

Loved this for SU. I remember growing up on Both Mac's actually... Only one thing that was almost was as cool as the entire fan base cheering on the last little girl running to the finish. Some of the best memories we have in the dome are from players, coaches, and those little things.

I know. It would have been better if he was still alive too even if right at the beginning of the 'Baber's era... But, who knows when that takes us or happens. He was long overdue imo. I'm glad we got some other legends up on the wall like Little before he passed.
