I'm not sure where this fits in, but for those waiting for Hunt or Kinder -- even if one or both is the answer -- it's important to point out that an offense should be able to run pretty effectively as long as the QB is serviceable. (and Nassib, IMO, has been serviceable at least by any measure -- he's taken care of the football, completed a bunch of the passes he's been asked to complete, shown toughness and some measure of leadership, and won games relative to the previous 5 years.)
But, regardless, the reason an offense needs to be able to survive with a decent (not great) QB is b/c that is going to be the case in many many years. Remember, whether you like Nassib or not, it took us more than a decade to get someone that good.
