Great coach for Syracuse in accomplishing what as a Syracuse Head Coach is the question.I think that Hop would make a great coach for Syracuse. Booster money will be there for him

eh, I'd argue the Hop people now were mostly the "JB gets to write his own ending" people thenA-freaking-men. The moment was after the 2016 Final Four. Announce JB was stepping aside either then or after a goodbye tour in 2017.
There’s people outside of here in coaching circles that think he should be a candidate.I automatically assume that anyone who suggests Langel is just a Syracusefan poster
Absolutely, these guys actually have a legit platform. Doesn't mean a legit platform means spreading legit information all the time. There’s too many people with podcasts that don’t know anything. I could say that about any topic.
Look no one knows exactly where we land on the exact ranking, but this is a high end tier 2 roster, comfortable saying that. If Syracuse is paying tier 3 money (which they are clearly not), they are technically getting bargain deals. No way Syracuse is getting bargain deals especially after the 14-19 season. I don't care how good of a recruiter Red is.I think we are around 4-5 mil without rev share and 8-9 mil overall with money left on the table, so when you account for Red not spending everything he could, I do think we are in T2 on that made-up tier list graph for whatever it is worth.
This can’t even be close to true lol. More like high end of tier 2. What gets alloted in rev share alone gets Syracuse close to out of Tier 3.
correctI think we are around 4-5 mil without rev share and 8-9 mil overall .
They had enough support this season to have the best team so far in this decade. If people were fully confident in the coaching who knows where Syracuse could fall on the NIL ranking scale. Syracuse can never outcompete Duke in dollars, that's it for the conference.I think we would have more donations if people didn't think they'd be burning their money with an incompetent coach. Why would anyone donate to get great players with Red? It's proven to be a waste.

Wasn't he the assistant that year?To be fair, Ryan Blackwell won a TBT championship for Boeheim's Army.

I posted it here with commentary as an example of don't listen to this report.Hey if Cuse Militia says something, we better listen…. The internet is a cesspool
I think half of the battle of more is the buying onto the program. teams need to be greater than the sum of their parts. The current SU edition has a lot of very good players, some who are excellent at one or two things. They see to get along well. They have had a couple of wonderful moments but too many bad ones. Most people think it is due to coaching and that could well be the problem, not necessarily the problem it could simply be that the pieces do not fit together well. In the NIL era there are plenty of examples of big roster turnover and success but just as many examples of failure. Assuming Red is gone, who knows which if any players stay, who puts the roster together, and how it plays together will be interesting next year.Just look at Kentucky. Tons of NIL and high priced players.
A warchest is no guarantee. You need great coaches and you need players that buy-in and fit together.
It's just incredible how much we care about whether someone was here thirty years agoI'm sure there are worse options than Jason Hart, but I can't think of many. Good gravy, what an awful list beyond Hodgson we must have.
A "catch up through key plays/posts" feature like YTTV or AI summary would be awesome for threads like these.
The JB era finally needs to end, alums be damned. Hop & Kiyan would be Red & JJ 2.0. Definition of insanity.
What on his resume makes you think he'd be great?I think that Hop would make a great coach for Syracuse. Booster money will be there for him
Thanks. Not bad. Just need to focus the prompt on certain posters to really get what I want.Just go to google gemini and past the link to this thread. It'll give you a summary.
Wow-7 dislikes. That's got to be a record here. Why do you think he would "make a great coach for Syracuse" when he struggled so much at Washington with some very good NBA-to be players?I think that Hop would make a great coach for Syracuse. Booster money will be there for him
