Ok sure, no matter who ends up as the selection they have to go through a negotiation process, even if it’s just to get to a mutual agreement on all the details. Some local radio interview is NOT going to dictate the deadline for a finalized deal. Get a grip.

You seem to be obsessed with this idea of casting a wide net for the job. It makes sense in theory, but it doesn't match the reality of the situation. This is not an enviable job to take, in a lot of aspects, for a lot of reasons. Like it or not, we haven't seen bigger names come up for a pretty understandable reason.

You need to learn how to read the room, no AD at a power 4/5 school is going on a pre-arranged local radio spot to announce the hiring of a head basketball coach. This is not 1963. Let the process play out, no H0T Takes needed.
