Do they even realize how hard it is to get a drink after the game without walking downtown?
Here's a great opportunity for the university solve a problem and boost NIL using the endowment. They can use it on infrastructure. Build a baller banquet space overlooking the Dome. Probably means turning a lot into a multi-story garage with a top floor or two that's an event space, but could also be renovating something else and changing the top floor.
I'm talking floor to ceiling windows looking out at the Dome.
The university can use it for general fundraisers so it's not even sketchy, but they can lease it to an NIL fund before and after every game for $1, and let the fund charge $15 a drink or whatever and rake it in. Make sure everyone understands what % of it is flowing to NIL.
Hoops coach can appear before most home football games, Fran can appear before a handful of home basketball games, players can make appearances after games, alums can make appearances.
You can schedule it or do surprises and let the rumors flow - you never know who you might run into!
It's also a fun play on fans saying they'd like to buy a player or coach a beer to thank them for their heroics, you're buying them an ice cold brew of NIL.
It's also a great way to start a pipeline of donors, you get them to spend maybe $30-100 on something fun, then try to get them for a recurring small donation, and go from there. People make connections, now they want to hang out with their new friends, now there are opportunities to run more events and trips.
