The Pacers say helloSince he won't make the NBA, maybe he will change his mind. It's all I got.

Would be a big time get if he takes feedback and uses his extra year. But would he actually consider us? If I remember right he was waiting on us to offer and never did his senior year but since then there’s been a lot of bad blood between us and Buffalo. From what I gather about him (from afar no inside knowledge just speculating) he would take that to heart and write us off. Hope I’m wrongHe is but he can come back. My ideal transfer if he does come back.
If he is a possibility, then might be worth waiting for since the "perfect" target not in portal yet anyway.Would be a big time get if he takes feedback and uses his extra year. With Cole instead of Bunch, I would have agreed. I just think we need a quality forward. A better back up 5 as well.
Good luck but the nba isn’t your future champ.
Please dont say thatGonna be Machine gun Joe putting it up
Agree. That rule really puts to rest any thoughts of any of those guys returning. Can't ask for more from Cole. One thing though the suspension for every game played at Portsmouth needs to be eliminated. That is just dumb. I realize it isn't Portsmouth itself and goes to playing in any such game but the draft eval process games should not result in penalties. That is another dumb anti student athlete NCAA rule.
Another four year P5 star that a coach (new Florida HC Todd Golden) convinced to stay for a fifth year. We really struggle with player retention, and it’s so disappointing.
What we're hearing about Florida's offseason roster moves
With Colin Castleton back as the centerpiece, coach Todd Golden has his first big win and a player to build an NCAA Tournament team around.theathletic.com
JB seems to care more about helping the player than the team. What a jerk.Another four year P5 star that a coach (new Florida HC Todd Golden) convinced to stay for a fifth year. We really struggle with player retention, and it’s so disappointing. Our coach doesn’t seem to make much of an effort. It’s basically like, “leave or stay, it’s up to you.” Meanwhile our competitors have a well-thought-out structured pitch to kids about why they should stay and what that could mean for their pro careers and draft prospects.

I agreed fully with him when he tried to get kids to stay, though he was often unsuccessful. So not sure our pitch has ever been all that great. And when kids decided to leave, he should have avoided publicly criticizing them in the press, as it’s not a great look.Yeah it is hilarious and shows what a no win exercise it is to try to please people as a coach. In years past, JB was viewed as dinosaur because he thought some players should stay. Now he’s a dinosaur because he can’t trick them into putting their dreams on hold to serve his needs. Or something.

I don't think he criticized the players; rather their decisions, and the process they used to come to those decisions.I agreed fully with him when he tried to get kids to stay, though he was often unsuccessful. He only tried to get kids to stay when he didn’t think they were ready. Again, trying to do what’s best for the players instead of the team… or fans like you.I agreed fully with him when he tried to get kids to stay, though he was often unsuccessful. JB has a lot more in common with Devo on the court than I would have figured. Do 5 awesome things, then 2 headscratchers right after.. and so on.
Your ratio is off, it's more like 3.5 awesome things and 3.5 headscratchers. It was 5/2 from most of mid80s to early 2010s.
It doesn't help him much but you can get paid now to play in college. Going overseas right now is a bit dangerous.I agree with JB on Cole. Coming back next year doesn't help him. I thought he should consider for the educational value assuming his pro career would be overseas.
