That OT TD was their first offensive TD of the game. Their only TD in regulation was a defense strip sack TD.

They shouldn’t go for 2.
They need their D to hold Iowa State then score a TD.

But if your offense is abysmal than wouldn't it be easier to shorten the game and only need to make one 3 yard play to win as opposed to having to start all over again from the 25?

No.
I only go for 2 when my defense can’t stop the other team.
Them getting the 3 yards is not a smart bet.

To be honest...isn't that fair? We were bad for 17 years, and put together 1 good season, then lose the QB that made it happen. There have been so many historically bad programs, that suddenly flashed a 9,10,11, win season, only to crash back to reality the next year. If you're on the outside looking in, why would you think Syracuse isn't one of those programs. Win 8+ wins this year and it'll change the perception.
We see it differently because we follow this team closely, know the incoming players, know what last years backups are capable of, and have seen what Tommy can be.
Like Dino said..."They didn't know! It's not their fault!"

I agree with all of that and we do need another year or 2 of winning to change people's perspective but you'd have to be a complete idiot to think liberty had any chance to win.

Yes and the only Clemson games projected to even be competitive, maybe, are A&M and SU. You would think they may want Clemson once and if we start 2-0 you get a first time host school with an ultra charismatic coach. Now let’s get to 2-0 and see what happens!

They had it vs Ga Tech but on a Thursday. But it came with an official announcement.

Surprising they prob won’t visit Death Valley once this year. That would have been argument to go vs AM rather than Cuse. To me it’s a no brainer at this point granted we both win on Sat.
