I think you might have left a year too early.Heck, I was a D-1 intramural basketball player, and I don't hold my "college experience" all that highly.

Actually, I stayed a semester too long. True story.I think you might have left a year too early.
Yeah understatement on that frontHad a nice game Saturday. 17 pts 5 rebs in 19 mins. 3-6 from 3. Sure wish we had him last year.
He's good at playing basketball.
He could have been a good NBA player if he had come to Syracuse
This situation saddens me because it clearly shows the path he took to the NBA works. Which hurts my favorite sport to watch.

i hope you are right and that darius is seen as a trailblazer and that the very best prep players are allowed to earn big money off their talents without having to go to college first.I believe he will play a major role in changing college basketball forever. I saw him play in high school and I have seen him play in the NBA and he got a LOT better over that year off, while making two million dollars. The bottom line is, even if you accept the premise that college has the better coaches (which was true for Bazely because Boeheim is so good, but I'm not at all sure its true of most college coaches) being able to work on basketball all day every day with a good coach beats having your practice time limited to 15 hours per week with the best coach, and having a bunch of other obligations thrown at you.
Maybe. It will become moot once the NBA gets rid of one and done. What he did isn't all that ground breaking when put into the perspective of the pre one and done guys that skipped college.I believe he will play a major role in changing college basketball forever. it will be a back to the future moment where one-and-dones are rare and most guys are staying 3-4 years.
Exactly. He never played for us. Indeed, he left us in the lurch- so why continue this “stalker ex-gf” vibe w/ Bazely? Far as I’m concerned, be it in the nba, g-league, or international ball, he can go kick rocks. Efe him. JMHO.Who ?

Pretty nasty attitude to have towards a kid.Right on Bro. I was hoping he would go undrafted.
