I will say one major plus we are ignoring is that having a full year with actual centers THAT ARE READY would be a major help for the zone.

that said having a full year of 35+ mins of Buddy and Joe at top of the zone would negate that positive

When I look at the team I think we still lack athleticism compared to prior Syracuse teams and offense. Also must have stronger rebounder. If this is partly a wish list thread then as follows:
Next year’s team
Buddy
Kadary
Benny
small forward/portal/scorer/can create shot
Jesse/Anselem
Portal power forward with size/rebounder
portal combo guard

After this season I am good with Marek moving on. Great effort guy...hustle...vision but can’t score. Sid needs to be concerned about health. Woody should have stayed but won’t. If Jake says one of Kadary or Joe then I would rather Kadary and athleticism.

Kadary should start and Joe could thrive as a 6th man. If that happens I hope that the dog in him wants to come back and compete for minutes.

But if he doesn't I can understand why. When he took Carey's job it was because JC was a disaster and we couldn't afford to have him on the court. If Joe loses the starting job its not because he played poorly, we just have a future pro at the same position. 99% of us would be mad.

Transfer (combo Guard)

Assuming the pick 1 is Joe, that is a rough lineup, imo. The transfer players have a wide range of possibilities, but the rest of the lineup does not have enough firepower.

I'm already that guy when it comes to this, so I'll be that guy again...

Girard has been far and away the most impactful player GMAC was the lead recruiter for. It's not even close.

Other than Sidibe, not a single one of GMAC's guys has made it 4 years. Every single one transferred.

If Joe joins that transfer group, it's not GMAC's fault, but it's not a great look.

I actually think that unless Joe went to a Sienna type school there are very few if any schools he would play anywhere near the minutes Jim plays him. Watch the games. He isnt all that good. He is certainly isn't a starting power 5 guard. Joe is very fortunate to be on Syracuse. I hope he can embrace a reserve roll.
Unfortunately he wont have to as im pretty sure Kadary wont put up with the baloney and will leave.

braswell scares me. I like his length and his defense. Needs to be a more dependable 3 point shooter. But his knees scare me. He really struggled getting up and down the court against Houston. You could tell he was in a lot of pain.
