I would say QB too last year but I was not talking about players.Last year. Special teams.

Agreed but then the question is when did he decide he didn't want to redshirt? If it was months ago or last week? You guys act as if Jordan has zero say in the matter. If kid wants to play and doesn't want to redshirt or be at Syracuse as a 6th year senior more or less he will most likely play. If he is as good as many of you think he is, he would most likely leave as a 5th year junior to go to the NFL with his degree in hand anyway. Age and carries/ tread on tire does matter at the running back position in the NFL too
If he didnt want to RS at a minimum he should have been returning kicks from game 1. No playbook required. You guys act as if Jordan has zero say in the matter. Did you not see who kept getting beat deep playing single high on Saturday?
No. I'm not saying Jordan shouldn't have a say.You guys act as if Jordan has zero say in the matter. I'm saying that this is an absolutely stupid time to figure out that he doesn't want to redshirt, if that's the case.
Correct me if I'm wrong but do you still need to be granted if u play less than 4?Here's a thought: if he doesn't red shirt this year he could do so in the future in a year where he gets hurt early in the season. It would be dependent on the NCAA granting him an additional year.

Here's hoping they stick to that. Not sure if this article sheds light on anything. Syracuse Football: Dino Babers plans on saving Jawhar Jordan for future

Im extremely confident that playing JJ tomorrow is a huge mistake. You seem quite confident in your ability to place kids on the depth chart and who should and should not play, who should be fired and who should not
I don't think you understand how this works.if it helps us win play him.. if we lose then RS him.. but hard to know before it starts. this is far different than playing a kid 1 game in the 2nd half of the season like yrs ago. if he plays today that means he played almost half the season. If he had qualified he would be a SO or RF anyway. if 3 yrs from now we lose because he isnt on the team then we probably have a new coach anyway
How do you know how hard he worked in practice? How well he knows the system? Calls out the blocks at RB? a million other day to day things. You don't but these things matter. So he has gotten some PT as of late and great for him. Why? Staff thought he deserved it, was ready and it was warranted and they thought he could help. Now they are left with this scenario and whatever happens it's not that big of a deal. He's here at a minimum of 3 more years most likely. Always kids you wanted one more year with, its college football. But I wouldn't make it out to be if he plays Saturday that Dino is some type of incompetent idiot because he let the kid play. Sounds like he probably won't
Agreed, they don't.I don't think you understand how this works.
I actually wouldn't mind that and am interested in a one off to see what the frosh QB could doA writer for the PS, Nate Mink I think, mentioned in an article a day or two ago that Tommy or Clayton would start at QB. Thought it was interesting he broached the possibility Tommy might not start. He did something similar just before the game McKinley came back.
Something to watch out for tomorrow...
