what is this, 1982?I don’t know if anyone picked up on it but during his call with Higgins he said after “4” years, if Red doesn’t make the tournament there should be some discussion.

I did catch that. He went from "needs time in his second year" straight to year 4.I don’t know if anyone picked up on it but during his call with Higgins he said after “4” years, if Red doesn’t make the tournament there should be some discussion.
this year.. i hinted at it earlier this summer. But he had previous engagements in new zealand that slowed the process up.. when he got home SU was in a hiring freeze apparently. Was told from the horses mouth it was a done deal. unfortunate. I'd rather have E on staff than some analytics kid. We see how well that's working outthis year or for JAB?
Just a hyper difference of opinion for sure, that is the side that I pick and by the way, my loyalty is undeniably tied to my integrity, which is rooted and grounded in truth. You pick you and I will pick me. I am definitely OK with Devo said and didWould be more brave to speak the truth, honestly.
Well, this school is behind the times when it comes to Athletics.what is this, 1982?

The world needs happy clappers too.
I am not so sure that the blame solely rests with Red. Devo is privy to much more information than we are entitled to. I believe the University was extremely late with their approach to the NIL and the changes made to recruiting. My belief is they have not completely caught up with other programs and are paying the price. We spread the monetary resources thin , which had an impact on talent. The world needs happy clappers too.

Coach Brown came from Georgia , where he was exposed to a program that taught him an approach that can work. He had very thorough plans of how to compete in this new market place. Red came in when the University wasn’t ready to compete with the big boys! Red is playing catchup. Talent wins. He needs the University to get him the resources to compete at the highest level. We have enough money to receive some talent, but not enough to fill the roster. That is why they are trying to find under the radar talent and not getting the proven players!
Recruiting however, is on the uptick, he will definitely promote vision. I think he’s trying to do that and he knows NIL is a huge part of it. Unfortunately, whether good or bad can certainly be used for good however must have balance. I fully agree However the transition was extremely strained. In my opinion he replaced a living legend, how was it going to be easy?. I think he has learned a tremendous amount as well as the administration. If we want to compete, we must compete in all areas concerning the power three of Syracuse University, that will help all other programs as wellI am not so sure that the blame solely rests with Red. Take out the basketball discussion, you just told somebody to take their medication, insinuating that they have a mental condition in the correlating factor being how they view a certain basketball team and coach in any event that is extremely biased and knowingly potentially harmful to place such insinuation, whether in reality or in a joking manner. I can certainly get clinical with you upon qualification I strongly suspect if anyone doesn’t endorse your belief you literally throw them under the bus that honestly might be clinical, just a thought. You should be very careful in the context in which you write even on a public message board. It is a reflection of your character and people such as myself and others can certainly pick up on it. You should be much more concerned with yourself honestly certainly matters much more important than basketballDiscussion:
meds... take your meds Devo.

Why do so many people care about Devo defending Red? I have no problem with it. Of course it’s out of love and loyalty. Let’s move on from this.
As stated, consistent clinical markersAll due respect, but I've seen enough of your posts.
You are on ignore.
Because it is the drama seekers with little to no info, year 2, depleted roster, certainly a couple of misses esp defensively, lack of a lead guard at the 1, NIL, transition, hyper drama last year...... Who would be succeeding? Loyalty and knowledge should help make informed decisions.I’m in this boat. I don’t know why anybody would be expecting him to throw Red under the bus. I don’t know why anybody would expect anybody in Devo’s position to throw their program’s coach under the bus. It would serve literally no purpose.
You guys love to not listen to me lolI don’t know if anyone picked up on it but during his call with Higgins he said after “4” years, if Red doesn’t make the tournament there should be some discussion.
I believed it when you said the plan was 4 years but I still think it’s just Syracuse mishandling things if they did that. If we miss the tournament next year too the fanbase will be officially broken and wouldn’t even tune in to start the season of year 4.You guys love to not listen to me lol
Well Kiyan is planning to play 2 years at Cuse and 2 only. So that fits in the 4 year plan. That means you get Melo for 2 as NIL head leading the charge. But I agree next year is the year that there needs to be significant progress of making the tourney and someI believed it when you said the plan was 4 years but I still think it’s just Syracuse mishandling things if they did that.
