I thought once the catholic 7 schools broke off at the end of this season, the rest of the Big East remaining teams were to join the AAC?
Ohh.. I thought the Catholic 7 were just staying in the Big East for this season and breaking off into a whole new conference with the remaining schools merging with AAC. I hadn't heard anything about the two conferences' moves in a while, guess I missed the whole point of it all.Where have you been. The "Catholic 7" broke off at the end of last season, added Creighton, Butler, and Xavier and became the "New Big East".
The remaining teams added a bunch of dregs from Conference USA and became the AAC.
