Dino and the media

I wasn't aware that there was a writer's competition where they get a record to be compared to each other and a football coach.

If there was, all 4 of those clowns I mentioned earlier would have exactly zero point zero wins.

Dino is a professional, Dino is successful, they are not. That is where the comparison starts and ends.
lol And you are the expert on who is successful? lol And Dino hasn't been successful here, yet. Two losing seasons isn't successful. The four beat reporters know that.

Are you saying Dino isn't successful based on what has happened at SU?

The guy has had a 33 year coaching career and is now the head coach at Syracuse University, a P5 school and makes a couple mil a year. I would call that pretty successful, wouldn't you?

The 3 clowns on the Football beat chase him around for a sound bite.

Who's successful in this scenario...

I call someone successful that is successful at the job they are doing. I love Dino. But he hasn't been successful here. Not yet. Two losing seasons, no matter the spin, is not successful. As for the reporters chasing him around, that is the career they have chosen. Part of the job. I hear jerks knock the local guys for years. And most of them go on to bigger towns and better beats. Pretty sure these guys will as well. Oh, and calling people you don't know clowns doesn't say anything about them. It does say a lot about you. And it isn't good.

Why would I need to know them to judge their work? I call them clowns because they are inept at their jobs and has nothing to do with whether I know them personally or not.

I don't care what your personal definition is of success, on this planet Dino Babers is successful. Even using your definition, the Job he has at the moment is Head Coach and he has been successful as a Head Coach. Two losing seasons doesn't define a man's career as to whether or not he is successful.

Dino not having 2 winning seasons here tells me more about how far Syracuse Football is/was behind the competition than how good or bad a coach Dino is and that is a fact. Regardless of your spin. A coach that has had success at every other school then comes to SU and doesn't win, that should tell you a lot more about the school, not the man.

As far as the 3 media members you are so vigorously defending. I wouldn't bet your money on them going to bigger and better gigs based on the work I have seen.

Dino hasn't been successful here. No matter how much you rant and pound the table.

If he wasn't successful, you wouldn't need a caveat to chop out the last 2 years of a 35 year career to attempt to make your point.

?? He was an ass't for all but 6 years of that 35 year career. And I don't care how successful you think he was when he was a quality control coach somewhere. He has been here two years. Both losing seasons. That isn't my definition of success. Was Shafer a success? He was a ass't in a lot of places too.

So SU hired an unsuccessful coach...awesome! Why was everyone so happy when he was hired, including you?

You aren't making sense. I liked the Dino hiring. I still like the Dino hiring. He just hasn't been successful here yet. I sure hope he will be successful. But two losing seasons out of two, isn't successful. He did well at a couple of lower level schools. But he didn't build anything there. Two two year stints isn't a long track record. It's not all that complicated. If he goes 4-8 each of the next two seasons, would you consider that a successful run as coach here? Of course not.
