Dino can outlift our Frosh?

Per this mornings paper. Sorry that is just unacceptable though I'm sure Dino is a strong 60 year old.
Dino needs to lift the phone and start recruiting.

And it is not like Dino is some slub off the street. Serge Nubret lifted till the day he died. He was more jacked at 70 than NoinetyNoine point 99999999% of people in their Noineteens.
Never in a million years would I have expected a Serge Nubret reference on this site. Kudos to you, sir. Now I must go back and look through my muscle & fitness mags from the 80s.

He was one of the greatest. Too bad he had the non Weider bias. IMO he should have won Olympia in 1975. Watch Pumping Iron and tell me he wasn't better than Arnold. But they were filming for Arnold so the fix was in. And I love Arnold he is my faaaavorite.

There are pics of him posing at 65 and video of him lifting at 70. As Rick James once said steroids are a hell of a drug.

He's right, btw.
I maxed out in strength at 43 and not sure if could have continued to get stronger because i stopped lifting heavy and followed the advice of my ortho to stop going heavy after I got hurt maxing out on a pyramid.

My 18-22 year old me could not touch my 43 year old me when it came to strength.

It was the rest of it, speed, vertical, agility etc...that 43 year old me could not touch 18 year old me.

My max deadlift came at age 50, now, still at age 50 I had a knee replacement. No more max for me. lol

FIFY :)

Go Browns!

It kind of felt like coasting uphill at the end, though. How does Baker allow himself to fumble at the end??? But, I'll take it.

Crazy for sure. He easily gets the 1st down to seal it on the sneak and then somehow inconceivably manages to simply let the ball pop out. No doubt it was the football gods messing with us Browns fans again.;)

Not surprising. Plenty of beer gut guys can still bench. Can they run a mile without stopping? Can they do a pullup? Can they bend over without back pain?

Man, I don't even drink but just got an exercise bike and figure I'll work myself back into shape little by little. I did 3 moderately resistant miles yesterday and 4 just now and my legs are jelly. I don't even feel like I'm even pushing myself and my body is not happy about anything happening.

I ride all over the city 9 months out of the year and feel it’s the best exercise after swimming. Every spring it takes me about a month to get back into somewhat shape but these days even a ride around the block and my legs feel like jelly lol

As I get older i feel it more...I almost exclusively walk and push cart when I play golf. As ridiculous as it sounds it takes 2 or 3 rounds to build up stamina to not feel wiped out after the round. The only good thing about 2020 is I stepped on course about 100 times this year

Ski season is getting underway here in Vermont. It doesn't matter how vigorous I train leading up to it, my first couple of days on the slopes turn my legs to rubber. It's just a different movement pattern that takes a little time to adapt to.

I go skiing once maybe twice a year and I go to Wyndham or the Poconos which aren’t any where close to Vermont slopes. If I did those now I’d need a week to recover lol
