Not to go off-topic, but it is vastly underappreciated by locals. There's only 2 other state fairs in the entire country that would seem to have more to offer.

And Minnesota. Their daily attendance numbers are insane occasionally exceeding 200,000... but in terms of metro population that attends, CNY outperforms all of them by a mile.
