I am guessing if Adam sits out he is going to try and make the jump. Howard may return to a diminished roll like you stated. I think it’s a big gamble for both of them.

I wonder if they are talking a wait and see approach with the Oline? Maybe they are sick of getting hit behind the LOS every run and want to see if the Oline can gel into a decent unit.

He’s a red shirt senior this year and plays a position with the shortest window of opportunity. I expect him to leave if he doesn’t play this year. He’ll work out for some teams and try to get picked up as a free agent. Can’t see him coming back next year as a 24 year old sixth year senior but stranger things have happened.

If you’re belichick you can do what you want. I still think it’s an annoying game he’s playing and I don’t find Pop’s antics cute even though I find in-game interviews pointless. But, bottom line, it’s hard to argue with what those guys have done.

But either way, the NFL and NBA have baked in fan bases. Syracuse has almost no fan base, so at least if you’re doing the stonewall routine, it should be because it provides some value on the field. Dino was giving nothing two years ago and won 10 games. Drove me nuts but I can see why folks would be fine with it. Last year he gave away nothing and it looked like Maryland was surprised by absolutely nothing.

There is no point other than old school meathead ‘this is how football is played’ BS. Saying we’re really like coley at rover’ gives absolutely nothing of value to carolina. To argue otherwise is absurd.

Not to anything close to nfl teams or nba teams or SEC or B1G teams or even most our conference foes. If dino goes out and wins a ton of games it will just be an annoying reality we live with as fans and we’ll all be happy we’ve got a good coach. The winning would help the fan base as well.

But the bottom line is it accomplishes nothing except shutting out your own fans. I can attest that neither liberty nor Maryland — saw both in person — were surprised by a single thing we did on either side of the ball and if they were caught off-guard by personnel ... we’ll they seemed to adjust just fine.

I thought about Slayton before, in terms of that twitch quick speed. Slayton was 5-9 200. Total freak. Pat White to 6-0 195. I think we have some of that on this team.

Dino is not going to disclose who is opted out. Why give your opponent an advantage.
Dino never give anything up. This is perfect situation for him. No media at all. It’s not like the local media ever does anything positive for the team.
concerning Adams and javon we will see in two weeks. Maybe their injured. Maybe they have opted out. Maybe their transferring and using this year as a sit out. Maybe they will be starting at nc. The one thing we know is nc will have to prepare for them either way.

Slayton was about 180 when he got to wvu and played from day 1. Curious if we can get JJ around that number for longevity especially now that RB depth is in question. Send him to Walmart with Cisco as Dino put it.

I'll be very interested to see Tucker if he gets any snaps. Elite track speed and looks he's more of a one cut type RB vs dancing/shifting around.

He did get some snaps and it was spectacular.
