Dino turned down coaching the final game.

Article on the hometown website shares what Caleb thought of the situation of him basically walking away. I find it enormously crappy of Dino to not even say goodbye at least. Caleb seems heartbroken his coach literally just walked out the day. Caleb wanted to go out on senior day and shake his hand and not getting that chance. So much for the ohana. To not even address the guys and just leave is wild to me. What a guy
People show their true character in the face of adversity. I don’t know Dino personally so I can’t say if he was a good person or not but actions speak volumes. He should have addressed his team.

You, most certainly speak about things which you have no clue about. It might have a degree of truth on 1 occasion but that does not discount the 10,000 other good occasions. Even though that is not true in this case, I most certainly believe. We all have to be careful about throwing stones. I suspect this is a problem for you globally. That is just my opinion. I 1000% believe unequivocally he will address the team and that is none of your or my business.

It appears you’re as clueless as I am.

Welcome! ;)

Didn't you say you had inside info about how Dino ran things, that you would be willing to share after he was terminated? Did you spill the beans on that yet or no?

Last exchange btw, just continue to open your mouth over your own life

If this is true, it’s official that Dino is not a “real nice guy”.

I do and I will. If you want to message me I’ll share. I actually feel kinda bad for him so didn’t want to air it out on here but you can message me

In the old days, a team meeting would be called, and all the players would be told about a coaching change BEFORE the news went public.

Today, every journo with a keyboard and a source wants to break the news first.

The players are pissed they had to find out about Dino's firing through social media. I get that.

Wildhack informed the team at the meeting Sunday morning. The article stated that Dino did not address the team at the meeting.

Was this Dino's choice, or Wildhack's?

Has Dino reached out to the players since the article was written? Is Dino intending on talking to the team (either as individuals or in a group setting) at some point?

Since Dino is an ex-employee, will his key cards even work anymore?

He wouldn't be the first guy to get fired and escorted off the property without having the opportunity to say goodbye to all his co-workers.

That's where I'm at. At best it's a confusing choice to not address the team, at worst it's a betrayal of confidence.
do we know if he's got a non disparagement clause in his exit pay package where he's going to be VERY careful about not speaking right now b/c he's angry as heck as how it went down? Regarding speaking to the team, it could be the scenario where there's more anger about things and maybe some assistants were plotting around him too.

Often times when the ship is going down things happen. Things are tight lipped for now, probably contractually but things are bound to get out...it's illogical otherwise because not speaking to the team seems weird.
