Yes. He can only take five paid ovs but he can still visit schools on his own dime.I would also add that he's only allowed 5 visits (to my understanding?). So far...

Not saying the other programs that have offered and not gotten a visit don't have a chance, but to be one that has received a visit is a lot better than not being one, IMO.
Will be interesting to see who gets the final one. (Assuming that's still a rule. I believe it is.)
Gateway to Oswego countyPhoenix NY?! We got this in the BAGGGGG BOYYY

If he waits that long, can he still enroll for the Spring semester?Yes. He can only take five paid ovs but he can still visit schools on his own dime.
He'll have to wait until mid January to take any more visits as it's now the Dead Period.
Already said he was signing later this month or early JanuaryIf he waits that long, can he still enroll for the Spring semester?
Supposedly Christmas time, so either the 24th or 26th some sort of announcement - after he sits with family and reviews everythingIf he waits that long, can he still enroll for the Spring semester?
That'd suck but Venables is a known dude when it comes to DL play and NFLHeard he was going to Oklahoma

I could be wrong but was thinking the dead period didn’t apply to transfers or especially ones that would be enrolling for spring semester.Yes. He can only take five paid ovs but he can still visit schools on his own dime.

Dead is Dead. The NCAA rule says no ovs during the Dead Period. They don't make a distinction for transfers. Now that doesn't mean that coaches can't call, text, email, video conference, etc with recruits. It just means kids can't have face to face contact with coaches on or off campus.I could be wrong but was thinking the dead period didn’t apply to transfers or especially ones that would be enrolling for spring semester.

But I’m not dead…I feel HAPPY!Unless..
An unrated prospect? People would’ve had the pitch forks out if they spent a scholarship on him coming off the 2018 season.
Bromley was a late bloomer but pretty physically developed. Verse looked like a safety prospect at best size wise when he committed to Albany. How much he has developed is really remarkable. I think Verse is far more the case of “no one saw this coming” than Bromley was.Please. For every Verse that makes it, there’s thousands of kids unrated that don’t. Everyone loved it when we grabbed Bromley b/c the talent was obvious. Just like with Verse. So maybe this is just a fun gaslighting post.
