He comes here he is an instant star. One of the best talents on the team immediately, in a defense that allowed good players like Kingsley and Cody to make impact play, in front of a good, could be excellent, secondary that should yield coverage sacks. He’d be a double digit sack guy almost guaranteed.

Not saying the other programs that have offered and not gotten a visit don't have a chance, but to be one that has received a visit is a lot better than not being one, IMO.

Dead is Dead. The NCAA rule says no ovs during the Dead Period. They don't make a distinction for transfers. Now that doesn't mean that coaches can't call, text, email, video conference, etc with recruits. It just means kids can't have face to face contact with coaches on or off campus.

If he showed the effort all year long like he did against Syracuse then Albany could have won some games. He is good, don't get me wrong, but a lot of times in the 8 Albany games I watched he was nowhere near what he showed against the Cuse. Staying with Tucker on that run is etched in everyones mind but that is just one play. Shows you what he is capable of. Something to think about.

Please. For every Verse that makes it, there’s thousands of kids unrated that don’t. Everyone loved it when we grabbed Bromley b/c the talent was obvious. Just like with Verse. So maybe this is just a fun gaslighting post.

Bromley was a late bloomer but pretty physically developed. Verse looked like a safety prospect at best size wise when he committed to Albany. How much he has developed is really remarkable. I think Verse is far more the case of “no one saw this coming” than Bromley was.
