I'd be shocked if any freshman DB finds their way into our loaded secondary.

My guesses for potential freshman surprises would be Mikel Jones or Jawhar Jordan. But can't see any of those guys getting enough PT to make them an AA.

I would be surprised if Benson, Jordan and one or more of the 3 freshman LBs don't play more than the 4 games allowed for a redshirt season. May not be AAs.

Luke Benson is who I think will surprise but not at the All-American level that the Andre duo achieved. I don't think we see any freshman All-Americans this year. Vetterollo is also possibly a break-out freshman (RS). Courtney Jackson could be the break-out guy but to put up big numbers it would likely require an injury to Nykiem or Riley.

I think if we can find 1-2 that are half as good as those two we’ll take it.

I do think their is room for a punt returner to emerge if someone like a Jackson/Jordan/Mital could emerge. Riley in my opinion is good but not great. (Maybe it just seems that way because he followed a top 3 PR in our program history).

Disagree completely and his numbers do too. It’s not all about the returner but punt return was fantastic last year.

According to ncaa.com, he was 2nd in the country in yards per return.
