Do you believe any of the Seniors will come back next year?

Will any Senior return to SU for a 5th season?

If Bourama wants to try to get paid to hoop he needs to leave before his knees fall off of his body. If his life goal isn't to play professionally he might as well come back.

We could always use a guy like Marek, but if it is at the center position, I'm not sure I would want to come back (if I were him). If a center develops between now and next season, that might change things...(BIG "if" obviously).
If am I Marek I am gone.
He would be the starting C if he came back.
He would be banging around again with bigger bodies.
Unless he was promised he would be on the wing I wouldn’t even consider coming back.

I don’t think Sidibe’s body will allow him to comeback.
Thus I think neither comeback.

My thinking exactly. Unless he plans on marrying his girl and making a go of it here in the US. He could play professionally overseas and have a great time doing it. Why get beat up by UNC guys when he could play the wing while getting paid?

And Sid is done. If he wants to be able to walk after 50, he should give it up.

It sounded like Jim wanted BS to return which seems nuts if he cant get his knee right by early in the offseason, April or May. You would then be risking a scholarship on a guy who has barely been healthy for half the time.
Need to go Saban/SEC football route of medical hardship DQ, where he gets to stay in school while not counting against the scholarship limit.

Marek only if he is playing forward. Jesse Frank or JBA need to show they are capable and JB needs to start one of them so MD goes to .

It would make sense for Marek to go. He can easily play in Europe and of course wouldn't count against any limit on the number of foreigners on the team.

I'm not expecting Sidibe, Guerrier, Marek or Griffin to be back.
I can’t see us losing all of this.
If that happened I bet Marek would comeback as he would be able to play on the wing.

No chance our starting forwards will be Benny AND Woody.

Way too much inexperience for JB to start.
Especially without a center and our backcourt Joe and Buddy.

One of the reasons I am disappointed Kadary isn’t starting now is I don’t believe he will start next year even though he is our best point guard now.

Why?

Benny and Woody would be a terrific starting forward tandem. That's what we should be striving for -- not Benny being forced to play "up" a position to the 4 and Buddy shifting to 3 so that Girard can start alongside Kadary.

You want to increase the athleticism of the team?

Start Kadary and Buddy in the backcourt [Buddy might be better defensively playing alongside a plus defender like Kadary]. Bring Joe off the bench.

Benny and Woody at forward.

Frank at center.

All of the sudden, we look like an ACC team -- not some physically overmatched team.

JB says our defense is hard to learn.
If I am going to take that on face value then starting Benny and Woody would hurt our defense.
Even though they would be much needed athleticism.

I have become show me with JB before I believe anything. I don’t anticipate what he will do when he won’t start Kadary now and is taking shots at him postgame because fans like him.

I think Joe comes off the bench next season.

Boeheim says stuff.

Remember how Woody played at the beginning of the year? You want to relegate that to the bench because of artificial concerns about his ability to defend?

Benny is one of the highest rated recruits we've had in a long time. He's the best wing prospect we've gotten, probably since Carmelo [apologies to Wes, who was a transfer]. Why would we waste that by forcing him to play out of position?

Woody is a stretch 4. Benny is a terrific 3 prospect. Play them together.

The last thing I want to see next year is another slow footed, undersized team featuring two small guys at the forward in Buddy and Benny, getting beaten up inside.

You have to play your best players, and out of the six mentioned, Joe doesn't make the cut. Now, he can still play 20+ and have games he plays even more, but the goal is to improve, not tread water.

Definitely see both leaving. The question becomes where would Quincy and Alan go if they were to leave? QG is not getting an NBA look yet. He is a tweener in college as it is and thus without showing off a handle yet he doesn't have a lot to offer as the next level. Griffin isn't getting a look from the NBA either so if both leave it's transfer or G League/Europe.
