Shocking how far SU has fallen. Granted the bar might be unreasonably high, but wow. Recruiting has really taken a dive. Outside of Rutgers & Hobart this team won't be favored in another game this year. They're going to have to pull some upsets to have a winning record.

Good thing Desko finally agreed to join the BE lax conference. Second chance if we aren't an at-large. But if we can beat ND (and the rest of the BE) and Duke or Princeton, I think we're in.

He did. But I'm starting to see things that concern me. Man up, half-field offense, faceoffs. These were problems last year, but we were able to overcome it most of the time with better talent and experience.

Weren't we 16-2 last year? We are young and have issues on offense and at the x but I wouldnt say it's time to panic...

No panic here, just an internet opinion. I think you could also add problems at goalie & lack of team speed. Just looks like a team full of role players which lacks star power.

Rice, Walters, Dejohn, Hatem, Messina were all highly regarded. Grimm, as I posted in another thread, has been "all-world" since 9th grade. What? Where is he? Funny, Powderly comes in and scores a goal in his first run in ages last game. What happens? He is rewarded with a seat on the bench. Probably took a shot when he wasn't supposed to. Just don't get it...

That's one of the great things about killer schedules: there are plenty of opportunities to get back on track.
