Dome Sweet Dome: Behind the scenes of Syracuse’s most iconic building

Pretty well done - enjoyed that... would’ve personally liked a little more depth into the stories and new construction but well done.
The interview was done a long time ago. Not sure why it was re-released again. It looks like they spliced a little footage of the new roof taken a couple of months ago.

What is needed is something like this on the new stuff in the dome. Would like to see what the LED lights and controllers look like up close and a demo of what they can do. Same with the sound system and the new scoreboards. And an inside look at the new roof, up close, with a technical overview of what it is made of and how it goes together.

I assume this will all come when the facility opens again.

It's funny how huge the Dome looks when you look at it from the top row/upper deck of a 30k crowd, but how incredibly tiny it looks when you're looking at it from an empty field view.

I think this video is just part 1. I think there will be another video (or videos) to compliment this once the reno is complete. Could be wrong though.

The inside look at Jim Boeheim's war room was not quite the revelation I was hoping for

It’s kind of neat to thin in about how it’s one of the most historic buildings in college sports. Individual stadiums have more history for their specific sport, but factor in the fact that it houses many sports, and its significance shoots up.

It’s really neat to think that it’s 40 years old now, and if the new roof concept lasts for another 30-40 years, it will be ~75 before there is a big push to replace it.

That timeline blows my mind. Domes won’t be a neat Syracuse quirk by then. They’ll be a full-blown tradition.
