Don’t foul??

For the players, I understand, look at their coach, he is the one waving them off and telling them not to foul, but I also don't know what they are happy about, and hugging on the court and giving thumbs up.
I said this in the UNC postgame thread, disgusted at what I saw. I cant imagine players from the past JB era would be doing this after a loss.

Dusty and Danny teased this topic on their show this am, just not a good look.

I posted this in the other thread that I think got nuked (maybe this one will, too):

Does anybody remember the high school football movie, Hometown Legend? It’s a movie about a crappy football team that gets a new coach and gets a little better. Anyway, in their final game, they play the big bad school and decide their moral victory is going to be winning the 2nd half.

I think that’s the most likely explanation for what we saw here. They wanted to win the half and did, so they were happy about that.

I won’t argue the merits of being happy about something trivial like that, idc.

There’s no betting angle that makes any sense, so anybody going down that rabbit hole is misguided and likely doesn’t understand how that stuff works.

Didn’t see it.

I was honestly shocked after coming back that far they didn't at least try to foul once or twice there

But why? Down ten with fifteen seconds left, it makes no sense to keep fouling.

Lol this one prob will too

This is exactly what I was referring to yesterday in an earlier post. Very sus behavior that is incongruent with the situation. Definitely raises an eyebrow
Get over your self. The two previous plays JJ drove and missed, he makes them then you foul.

I know the board as a "we" are not happy with the team and players this year.

And you can certainly criticize the hugging after a game from perhaps a "moral" comeback. That's fine. That's not what we want Syracuse to aspire to and be satisfied with.

But using a situation to frame speculations on a betting angle, likely influenced by your frustration for this year's team... Get a life.

I mentioned in another thread this came up, if I had to take a wild guess it seemed more like a “Hey, you/we good?” type of signal with the thumbs up and embrace like maybe Nait and Donnie had some heated words towards each other or something like that earlier in the game. I know if I was Donnie, I may have had some choice words for my teammates after that 1st half when it looked like only Donnie showed up to play. Just a guess.

OK, I feel it's finally time to step in here. Tread very carefully everyone.

With absolutely no proof, there will be NO statements or insinuations that Syracuse is shaving points. Accusations like these can go viral quickly and do real damage.

These posts will be terminated with extreme prejudice.

And maybe the poster also.
