Agreed on the point highlighted above. I think what people are starting to focus on is: does the damage from the tape end with the Fines, or is this something that extends beyond to JB, the University, and the program.

Ditto. Living away from NY, I'm someone who gets identified a lot by friends / colleagues / clients as being a Syracuse University fan. There's nothing worse than having to discuss this topic every time it's come up the last two weeks...

I just stress that we're not Penn State and that SU hired an outside firm that conducted a 4 month investigation that turned up nothing. Most everyone I've spoken to don't think this is SU's fault.

That was one of several messed up comments. to be honest with you i am a bit shocked right now. at this point it does not look good for Fine, but regardless of the outcome of this investigation this she is nuts.

I always thought syracuse was this boring run down city no different than any other boring run down city between NYC and Chicago. But clearly the city is more interesting than I gave it credit for.

Nice deflection there. You being the chief apologist and attacker against the victims, would you like now to maybe do the right thing and apologize?
