Drexel Postgame Thoughts...

I'm starting to see the upside of Zephir getting minutes. I was complaining about him getting minutes over Fennell a lot the last couple weeks. He was a bit of a spark plug defensively to help start our run in the second half. He also was a little bit of a stat stuffer in his 15 minutes. Importantly, he looks more confident and sure of his role than Fennell out there. If this continues, they might be in a battle for minutes all season long, which would be very good for team depth, which was tested again today.

He's a strong defender, has a good energy to his game.

If the Amazon Prime info screwed anyone out of watching the game, I apologize for my part in relaying that information. I honestly thought you'd get full access to Peacock Premium including sports with the free trial. I know what's it like to look forward to watching a game and then be shut out, so I hate that it happened to some.

I can't'add as much as others when it comes to strategy, but I try to provide reliable info when it come to things like this and I blew it today.
Same!:)

Red now has a tape of the defensive effort standard if a player doesn't give this effort, get them on the bench and get another player in. We have plenty of athletes to put players on the bench for bad defensive effort. Red can't let up on this team. He has to DEMAND this effort every single game.

How did Klein find a guy who could contribute for us who played 15 minutes a game at Montana State? Pretty amazing, really.

Randomly, wasn't JJ's best performance last year right when he came back after his injury?
Yeah I think it was Florida State. I think JJ will for sure help us in the half court offense which this team certainly needs. As long as we see JJ fit in the rhythm we have established defensively, I’m excited for his return!

Happy Dance GIF

So Houston took the top spot that did belong to Syracuse in defensive efficiency in Bart Torvik (no preseason data recognized), though offensive efficiency went way up to 88. Overall, number 2 behind Gonzaga.
