I’m rooting for Rickie astronomically hard and want him to be serviceable to great against Duke. It will be a knife in the heart if he doesn’t grow how I think he will.

The consensus has now gone back up to -5.5 including DK & FD. Though ESPN is still at -4.5.

A few places, including Cesears, are now at Duke -6. ESPN now is -6.5.

Duke is 1-3 ATS. Small sample size and Vegas is right a lot more than they're wrong, but sometimes they can't even get a read on some teams in a given year.

That said, I fully expect Cuse to be a popular square dog this week...

Is it what Vegas is saying or what bettors are doing in affecting the spread? They may look at SU as a compete unknown. Which hopefully is a big mistake. No faith. No belief without evidence.

If we beat Duke on Saturday, it will be only the 2nd time in 13 seasons in the ACC that we have started 2-0 in conference. The only other time was 2022 when we started 3-0 (Louisville, Virginia, NC State).

Such a sad stat. So glad we are in a new era.
