Duke Gameday...

Gary mentioned the team's discipline in the fourth quarter standing out and it absolutely did.

Cuse has only one penalty in the second half (an offsides) and zero penalties in the fourth. Amazing! When was the last time that happened? It feels like forever.

Kudos for the players on keeping level heads in such a tight and tense game.

Crazy what's possible when you're not living in the penalty box down the stretch.

Sounds like it was an ugly win and the defense n McCool struggled a bit. But man the offense is putting in work.
And with Hahn and mcintee threats to score when they touch the ball. Plus seeing Bear with the kind of game he had is nice.
Just gotta clear up sloppy play and some defensive issues.
I know it’s beating a dead horse over and over, but man, this team has some insane talent.
Gonna have to find the extended highlights.

Watched some DI college men's ice hockey playoffs last night. Two Plante boys on University of Minnesota-Duluth. That name sounds familiar...Oh, right. Derek Plante, a former Sabre, a former UM-D Bulldog.

And then we have a Colsey at Duke and a Colsey at UVA. Ouch. I know Roy did some amazing things on the field for Cuse, but I'm sure that this doesn't sit so well with Syracuse fans and lacrosse alums. Especially because they're both at ACC rival teams.
I can't speak for all but ill speak for myself as an alum. It definitely stings that the previous staff decided that Ryan Colsey wasn't worth a full recruiting effort, not just because his father was one of the 15 best players in program history, but also because there were two more stud sons and Roy is a very influential voice. And I know others have mentioned that it is no slamdunk that Kyle or Christopher would have ended up at SU, there was no chance after Ryan's non recruitment.

Some odd stories about Cuse's recruiting efforts. Mike Powell said they didn't really recruit him and was going to go to Fairfield but Ryan stepped in the last minute to get him to commit.
