Honestly i rather get little disrespect in the polls. As feel players do look at them n feel they play little better when not getting any love rather then when they do. Seems in any of the few times we had high ranks we lost right after. So let them keep looking down on us n hopefully team if do see take it personally n it lights fire to prove them wrong.

Plus do have few top 20 wins. But to go with those wins we really could use a top 10 win or two. They have to beat uva/colgate, don’t think can not win those games n hope for a high seed. On top of that gotta least take down duke or unc or ND if not 2. That give multiple top 20 wins n least 1-2 top 10 wins possible even top 5 win. Def no matter gotta take 1 out of duke,unc,nd. Think taking 2 of those 3 even no matter result of acc tounry. Think would almost be certain to be top 4 seed. Either way Syracuse as few years before hold their own destiny in their hands. Keep winning n path to your goal be little easier.

I only go back to the 80's. Tim Nelson, John Zulburti, Paul Gait, Gary Gait, Rob Kavovit, Casey Powell, Ryan Powell, Liam Banks, Mike Powell and Im probably forgetting a few. Joey is a very good player, but if you watched syracuse lacrosse prior to 2012, you wouldnt have him as the best feeder.

Statistically, he is already ahead of all those players, except Nelson, who appears to be in a class above.

Assists per game might be a more accurate measure. The number of games played per year has varied considerably.

They definitely play more games now, but it's pretty comparable because most of those guys played for teams that made deep tourney runs every season.

Page 106 is a helpful quick reference. Hopefully Joey ends up playing 73 games (he's at 62 right now with w/ 165 assists). Mike Powell played 66. Zullberti is a pretty good comp. He had 158 assists in 60 games.

To appease those that want Chuck Kuczynski kicked off the team and his family deported back to Poland (has to be Polish with that last name) - a more appropriate punishment would be to make him rewatch every Syracuse men's basketball game from this year from start to finish between now and the UNC game...he may just quit the team instead.

Id hope the fact that he's not allowed to even be at the game as a spectator does as much for him as it did for me when I get suspended from marching band. It really helped me put everything in perspective and get me to make actual change.
