It was a Jeep suv.maybe the grandson just wanted to drive Banchero's Bentley. Where's the harm in that ?
2017It was a Jeep suv.
But did it have the chrome grille insert, chrome door handles, 22's with lit rims, purple under chassis lights, killer stereo and a "1NBAPK" license plate ?2017
License plate "BRTHRHD" is also viable and doubles as a recruiting tool. But did it have the chrome grille insert, chrome door handles, 22's with lit rims, purple under chassis lights, killer stereo and a "1NBAPK" license plate ?
What we have here is a failure to communicate.Perhaps just as obvious. Thanks Occum! Sometimes the laws in different states are like going to another country.
"You ain't from around here, are you boy?"
Builder of men.Remember when K yelled at Dillon Brooks in the handshake line for taking a shot at the end of a tourney game LMFAOOOO doesn’t even have the balls to discipline his own players.
No I didn’t and wasn’t and am not insinuating anything negative towards you. I understand the point you were making and I just expressed an opinionWho is saying it was? I take it you ignored the first sentence of my post.

Banchero had to have been the driver. The other kid is the fall guy. Banchero dove into the back seat. There is no other likely explanation. A tall basketball player cramped into the backseat of his own jeep while someone else drives - give me a breakIm all for strict DUI.laws but charging the passenger is just silly.
That wouldn't stun me one bit.Banchero had to have been the driver. The other kid is the fall guy. Banchero dove into the back seat. There is no other likely explanation. A tall basketball player cramped into the backseat of his own jeep while someone else drives - give me a break
You must remember that Coaches K and B are very good friends. I understand the sentiment (although I don’t agree with it) but I think that would be - um - ungracious. I think Boeheim would be mortified.I’m going to be sick if the Dome doesn’t boo K this year. Fugg the “farewell tour”

I was listening to Chris Mad Dog Russo talk about it a few days after the game and there must have been an hour of callers rip and lambast K. The theme: Coach K is a crybaby and sore loser who acts like a spoiled brat kid when things don't go his way. Unprofessional.Don't forget he then proceeded to blatantly lie about what he did / the incident at the post game presser.
It wasn't even the end of the game. The shot clock was running down to zero with about 15 seconds left in the game if I remember correctly Players do that all the time -- including his own. Players hold the ball when the shot clock is turned off.
So
1. He was a to Brooks.
2. Brooks did nothing wrong.
3. He lied about it afterwards.
This incident (even 5 years old) still bother me a lot. As you can see!
Here’s the befuddling thing to me.. no matter what you think of his culpability.. how much of a cost to Duke would it have been to just sit him vs a scrub team in a joke game ? Just sit his ass for optics at least. Yet this shows you the depravity that exists in these programs where they’ll do and allow just about anything to obtain even the most unnecessary, marginal edge against even Blessed Heart of Mary
It would only be an admission if they called it a suspensionSeems more likely that they calculated sitting him would appear as an admission of guilt while the event is still “under investigation.” But who knows. Certainly Duke and K have their own rule book they get follow so maybe they do just feel they are Michael Knight style above-the-law.
BygonesBanchero: We all learned from incident, moved on
Duke's Paolo Banchero, speaking for the first time since he was charged with aiding and abetting impaired driving during a Nov. 14 incident that involved teammate Michael Savarino, said Monday the Blue Devils "all learned from it" and have "moved on."www.espn.com
Phew, see I was worried that he wasn't going to learn from it. Oh, but no regrets. I would have hoped there would be some regret and some learning. Just learning is good, but without regret for his actions...feels a little hollow.Banchero: We all learned from incident, moved on

"Asked at one point during his postgame session with reporters if he has 'any regrets about what happened,' Banchero replied, 'No.'"Phew, see I was worried that he wasn't going to learn from it.
