I saw it different as just a guy getting destroyed and laying there with the trainers telling him not to move. But I agree with others too early to tell but I'd bet he play against LSU

If...IF... it is a concussion he's likely to miss at least 1 game. It really depends on degree. Each of my kids have had at least one and each was different (ironically none were from football). Once he missed a week, once he missed practice but not the game and once we didn't have him come back (wrestling). All kids in our district have to be cleared by a "concussion clinic" at Children's Hospital before they can return. Recently our QB missed 2 days of practice but didn't miss a game. We've also had kids miss a game and another kid miss 2 games. One kid we all thought had a concussion actually had whiplash. I hope he's back next week for LSU. If not he'll have 3 weeks off with the bye.

That said (I'll do the opposite here), I honestly think it's more vertebrae related. Dude's upper neck got jacked up. It will definitely be stiff for the next week, in my opinion.

No comment about concussions because I am not too familiar with them.

I want to win that game as well. I'm just saying, there are worse games he could potentially be missing. I'd rather have him for, say, the Pitt game than the LSU game since we have a much more realistic chance of winning against Pitt.

Why don't wait until we know more before we call him in or out for next week. I don't know that he was knocked out. Took a blast of a hit. But didn't need help walking to the locker room. A good sign. Let's wait and see. I don't concede the game to LSU if I don't have to. His safety is the most important thing but if he can play, let's have at it.
