The question was, and I'm paraphrasing, how many wins do we need for Dungey to stay in the Heisman conversation. I said 8 with the eye popping numbers he could put up. I directly responded to the question being asked.Yes I did.
But the point stands... What sort of eye popping numbers are we talking about if he's sitting on the bench for the rest of the season injured?
Given his injury history, this heisman convo is silly...
Keeping him healthy is priority 1... Anything else is gravy.
You literally said, "Screw the heisman." If that isn't disregarding the question being posed and, therefore, changing the conversation, I don't know what is.
No intelligent coach is going to risk injury to his most important player by leaving him in the game just to inflate his numbers, however, he will be expected to play the vast majority of the time because we're not going to blow most teams out. That will likely result in eye popping numbers former QBs like McNabb didn't have the opportunity to pit up. So stop being a contrary idiot and have some fun addressing the OP or ignore the conversation.
