ESPN Gameday - SU & Pitt Formally Apply To ACC

Being more of a football fan than a hoops fan I love the idea of playing BC, Maryland, VT, Miami, etc.

Some new and nice road trips for football. But the basketball end blows big time.

Big time? The only "great games" we lose are G'Town and UCONN. Very Good games lost are Nova, ND and St. Johns.

As good at the 'Ville and Cincy programs are, the historical connection simply isn't there.

Plus, something tells me that the "basketball only" Hoyas and Red Storm will continue to play 'Cuse as much as possible.

Then we can talk about the annual games we ADD: Duke, UNC, Maryland as great games... with BC, G'Tech, NC St., Wake, FSU, and UVA looking like pretty good 2nd tier replacements for Nova and ND. (granted, most of these programs are not as strong as ND & Nova, but they aint too shabby.)
