I don't follow MLL at all. Is Matt Danowski still a top player? He's 33 years old, and plenty of guys have been just as effective past that age as they were when they were younger.

I understand the USA roster was built to create the best team possible and to beat Canada. What role is Danowski filling?

Edit: I'm guessing he'ss 33 based on when he graduated HS.

He has two goals today and is still a good MLL player . Avg 2.5 pts a game for Cheasapake. Several other mll att have greater stats including Rice and Will Manny and case could have been made for the selection of either but Danowski choice was not just because of father coaching. He can play n Carc just explains how he fits and his overall value to USA.
