This is a myth.Syracuse also needs a boatload of cash to do the Louisville approach. Soemthing we dont have
I’m talking about the coaching part. Talent doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have a coach, literally look at our team this seasonI Im not talking about the coaching part, I im talking about all the transfers they brought in to get better. They brought in some great, expensive ballplayers.
If he doesn’t make the NCAAT he is fired. It’s cut and dry. It would take a minor miracle for this team to make the NCAAT due to Red’s coaching. They have the talent but lack the coaching. Nait George is a perfect example. He was great at GT but under Red he’s a basket case.Nothing will happen until the end of the year. But as painful as it sounds, losses going forward are a good thing. The more the better. Got to make this as cut and dry as possible. Red is and has been a horrible coach for 3 yrs and we will never be successful with him at the helm. There'll be excuses, no Donnie, bad calls, took us a while to find chemistry, ect so the more losses the more easy and irrefutable the decision with be
There was one on the other side named Speedy Claxton. We don’t need a boatload of cash to hire an up and coming MM coach.
What if they sneak in to the play-in game as a 12 seed? Does he get an extension? If he doesn’t make the NCAAT he is fired. It’s cut and dry. Because of Freeman's injury he deserves another year, but that is it.
He absolutely does not deserve another year
Accurate post. Just look at Capel at Pitt. Also beaten by Hofstra. Their fanbase is saying the same thing now. It’s time to move on.Nothing will happen until the end of the year. Donnie made of glass. Always injured. It's time for Freeman to play.
We deserve it.We’re currently being made fun of by Jaquan Carlos and Chance Westry on twitter fwiw. This is Syracuse basketball under Red and what our program has come to.
Glad to see former players supporting Red and the program……We’re currently being made fun of by Jaquan Carlos and Chance Westry on twitter fwiw. This is Syracuse basketball under Red and what our program has come to.
As if they did anything to be part of the solution while they were here. We’re currently being made fun of by Jaquan Carlos and Chance Westry on twitter fwiw. This is Syracuse basketball under Red and what our program has come to.
It is definitely not an excuse, but you have to admit we are about as snakebit as it comes with this stuff between football and basketball. No freeman is not an excuse. I don’t want to hear it. Pathetic effort and the offense is awful.

I agree. Do basketball teams bring in consultants during the season like football teams? If so, we need to do it. There is too much talent for this type of performance.Regardless of what ultimately happens, suggesting we announce the guy is fired before league play starts is a top-5 dumb suggestion.
This isn’t football where you run up against the portal and signing day as soon as the season ends.
No tournament (again)
Should be all you need to say.
