And they are the ones to blame for all of this . The ones who allowed JB to torch the program on his way out the door need to be removed. Otherwise the program will continue to suffer.

We’ve lost out on every single ‘26 recruit. So many recruits were legitimately interested in us, but couldn’t commit to such a messy program. If we get a high profile coach, we could attract some of the top talent from the portal as Pitino did.
Syracuse basketball is the only game in town and the region. There’s no reason not to put big competitive money into talent and coaches - money that can easily be recouped with 30k seats sold for most games. We should be willing to pay the best talent whatever the price is the way BYU did with Dybantansa (spelling). We already have the upgraded dome and the seats - we just need to pay for play.

Autry on his own killed the team's momentum early in the first half when he make wholesale lineup changes. He has never shown that he knows what he's doing in rotating players in and out. And why did he take so long to put Donnie back in during the last part of the second half. Does Donnie get that winded?
Poor offensive schemes and poor PG. play are the main reasons for the turnovers, Red and his staff are responsible for both.
That would only make you feel good. It would accomplish nothing.

Such a lazy take. Turnovers are caused by players being undisciplined and unorganized. Those traits are installed by the head coach. So you can blame the turnovers and dumb plays on the players if it is a one-off but if it is a three-year problem, then that is the culture the head coach has installed.

In case anyone was wondering how much longer we will have to endure watching Red destroy this program, the answer is 52 days. That’s March 10th the first round of the ACCT. I’m quite certain Red will be fired on or around that day.
52 days doesn’t seem like too long, but it won’t be an enjoyable 52 days. This will be another cold winter of bad SU basketball.

Technically no, but he endorsed him with a line of BS to the fans about being the best man for the job. If you were handcuffed and not able to actually do a real search and hire and had to lie, you should just resign before you do and say that garbage in March of 23.

The only thing it would accomplish is making sure that Red is 1000% not here next year and gives him zero chance of coming back. Even a 1% chance he has now is too much to risk our future on. So while I know he will not be fired now, he should I don't want the lottery ball to hit and Red is our coach next year.

terrible. And he has to go. And he will go. I would bet. Just firing him now doesn't really help things. Makes us fans feel better. That is it.

Right and there isn’t anyone on the bench who is going to change the season outcome or be able to rally the guys together. We have to simply wait for the inevitable and then see how things shake out for a new coach and a new team.
