First Look at the 2020-21 Orange...

Feel like a lot of this season will come down to how much Buddy & Joe improve their defense at the top of the zone. Yes, we really struggled defending at the rim, but teams don't get to the rim that much on us with the zone. Last year our D broke down because 47% of shots were 3's and we had the 116th best 3 PT D in the nation.

Considering we are adding some versatility with AG/KR and Buddy/Joe should improve some with more experience, I'm optimistic we could surprise some people this year.

I sure hope you’re right.

Dunk #2, Anselem's reverse looked nice and bouncy.
Dunk #3, Woody's put back jam was a decent power dunk.
Dunk #5, windmill was Chaz Owens!
Aside from that, Jon Bol needs to keep that headband. He should be that guy. Just my opinion.

Chaz has to be be a shoo in for ACC best hair game this year.

"Kadary Richmond is "a special talent. He has a tremendous feel for the game, really crafty, can make plays. Him and Joe (Girard) have been battling (in practice)."

How great is this to hear? Early reports were that Joe was having many practices when he was "the best player on the court." Now, with this comment from Buddy, we have news to really celebrate. Think about it...

Joe's greatest challenge at this stage in his career is to show how he can perform against taller, talented guards. Well, now he's getting a chance to work on that challenge every day. If he can show that he can score against Kadary, and play respectable defense against him, then Joe's future is truly golden, n'est-ce pas?

And then of course, there's Kadary's "special" potential to look forward to... :)

I am really excited to see how much of a jump Joe makes. He is a bit stronger to go with everything else and now has a year under his belt. The game should slow down for him even more at this level and let him do his thing putting up points in bunches. There are multiple guys this year who can go on a one man run.

You had me until “n’est-ce pas”. And I do know what it means. But, don’t be polluting this board with your Frenchy crap. This is ‘Murica pal. Just kidding. I agree with you whole heartedly. We are going to have a special year.

Hey, I took 3 yrs of French in High School and remember almost none of it.
But I do remember "n'est-ce pas", and "ferme la bouche" which we heard several times a day in French class, lol...

If it helps us with Elijah Fisher, then French it up. Although, he is in Ontario. He may not be French speaking.

I'm feeling quite certain that this year's roster does not feature any McDonalds All-Americans or Five-Star recruits. Can anyone confirm? Who was the last?

Don't know if this is where to ask this question, but I'm thinking maybe the really knowledgeable fans drop by here. I'm thinking that this year's roster does not feature any McDonalds All-Americans or Five-Star recruits. Can anyone confirm?
I think that’s right, but neither did last year’s team.

it's been a long time since we've had either, next year's team will have Benny Williams who is a 5*
