Give it to him next year. If we keep the core of the team together, fill in some holes with transfers then I think next could be 2018 special. Unfortunately I don't have too much faith in SU to hype the season with a "Return of 44" marketing campaign, but I still have hope.

The Manny’s shirt is not his “official merchandise”

He has a deal through Manny’s. There’s a difference. What he’s referencing is he will have his own stuff (likely will get a much larger cut) to be sold via his people.

The scam is in reference to other people trying to make a buck off someone else
