I’m asking because I don’t know … how well did he recruit at temple and Rutgers? Compared to Syracuse, yes it’s incredibly easy to recruit at Georgia.I swear to sweet Sam Elliot if one more person says " OMG IT'S SO EASY TO RECRUIT AT GEORGIA...DUR DUR DUR DUR"
LOOK at his full body of work...COME ON
If hired, I believe he would be our first coordinator to reach the million salary mark.
Muschamp is reported to be making $855K and will bump to $905K in July 2024.
Ripples? I’m looking for Waves
I bet he doesHoping he gets Willy Love out of his hometown of Camden, NJ to commit.
Dini won the MAC...and look where that got him. Winning in lower levels doesn't guarantee that you're a good coachHoly Cross was perennially bad, so Chesney would clearly be more qualified. Jason Candle will probably win the MAC championship. This guy isn't even a coordinator . . . in fact, he's never been a coordinator. Now he's going to be the head coach? We can file that under very risky.
I'm going to give him a chance, but this I think it's fair to be a bit skeptical.
As an aside, I was the leading scorer on a flag football team in college, and I played touch football in law school. Maybe I should have applied? You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, I guess.

Yep I don’t say this in any patronizing way, with a lot of recruits being African American kids from a tough background, you can’t fake authenticity when it comes to living that and relating to that. Brown will be able to go into these kids homes and the kid, his parents, grandparents will all connect with him in a way that a lot of coaches can’t.I'm all in on Fran Brown now. Reading about he's paid it forward in his hometown of Camden convinced me.
He will relate uniquely well to players. The key, of course, will be the staff. But, as a head coach who publicly represents the program, I don't think we could do better.
And some actual depth so that if QB1 goes down, the season isn’t destroyedWe don't need top 25 classes to compete in the ACC. Just need to get around to 40 and get some better injury luck.
Even cracking the top 50 would be a nice change of pace.We don't need top 25 classes to compete in the ACC. Just need to get around to 40 and get some better injury luck.

Pound the portal!!Depth? We need a QB1!!!!!
Hoping he gets Willy Love out of his hometown of Camden, NJ to commit.
Yeah, top 25 seems overly optimistic, if not borderline delusional. Had the program come close in twenty years, I could be convinced. Are there examples of programs who consistently live outside of the top 50 suddenly pulling in Top 25 classes? If so, then maybe I'm too pessimistic.
not patronizing at all. if the majority of high school football players were indian i'd want to hire someone from India to be the head coach. The essence of life is in relationships and it totally makes sense. You need to make connections with coaches, recruits, staff, community and fans to make this work.Yep I don’t say this in any patronizing way, with a lot of recruits being African American kids from a tough background, you can’t fake authenticity when it comes to living that and relating to that. I'm guessing the 3-9 Giants aren't too worried about the rest of this season.Jeff Nixon is currently the RB coach for the Giants.
If he quits at this point of the season, would he be able to get a job again in the NFL?
That would be awesome!top 40 would be more than sufficient to be successful in the ACC.
