So…he wouldn’t take minutes from Joe?
"Already ranked as one of the top 25 players in the class of 2023, Canadian wing Elijah Fisher had himself a strong night. A solidly built 6-foot-6 slasher who excels in transition, Fisher was relentless attacking the basket for Elite 6 as they scored a comeback win over the Arkansas Hawks. Fisher said that his visit to Texas Tech is the only one so far and didn’t address rumblings that he could end up a 2022 dude. He had Creighton’s Greg McDermott and assistants from Auburn, Arizona and many others in the building."

Joe likely won’t be here. We also likely have a small class in 23 because we just took 6 guys. So…he wouldn’t take minutes from Joe?
There is talk of him reclassifying to 2022.Joe likely won’t be here. We also likely have a small class in 23 because we just took 6 guys.
I’d take him as a small forward. There is talk of him reclassifying to 2022.
Bummer. Are there any players from Canada in the class of 2023 that we do have a legit shot of landing? We have never gotten a Grassroots Canada/Ro Russell prospect. That won’t change with Fisher. Move along.
Remember when we used to regularly land athletic freak prospects from the northeast? Now they go to, lol, Texas Tech, because, you know, Canada to Texas is such a no-brainer. Recruiting makes no sense.
Why is this the case? Do Ro Russell and JB have some beef?We have never gotten a Grassroots Canada/Ro Russell prospect. That won’t change with Fisher. Move along.
Probably should’ve stayed in 23 instead of reclassifying to 22Just looking at the stats, rough year for him
Hoping Coach Autry focuses more on Canadian recruits. Lots of talent not far away. We need to do better recruiting this area.
Welcome to your number 1 priority recruit for 2023 folks. All the eggs = this basket
