Who knows how reliable?
Tread lightly. We’re a hardened bunch.
If Kingz commits do we see him starting in a three guard lineup?
Exactly why I doCan you really trust a Mets fan?
BJ Johnson briefly.I’ve been trying to think of lefty Kingz since Dasher posted. All I can think of is CJ Fair. There’s gotta be more.

How’s his defense? Would he play SF here? He’s not as big as CJ and a much better shooter. He can also get to the rim, which means you can’t just crowd him and take away his three. He‘s not one dimensional. I hope it’s true.

Kingz is a slightly plus defender. Nothing great. His offense is where he shines. How’s his defense? Would he play SF here?
He also gives us another experienced player who can play off guard. I think you’re going to see JJ, Kingz, Anthony, Fennell and our point guard share the three perimeter spots. t’s five guys for three spots.Kingz is a slightly plus defender. Nothing great. His offense is where he shines.
I guess you would say we’re playing 3 guards when he’s in, but we’ll have Freeman and Kyle out there when we’re playing “small” most of the time.
I imagine he could play with three forwards and a point guard easily when Starling is out.

I’d like to add Darren Harris from Duke to that list. He’s getting no run as a freshman and comes from Paul VIHe also gives us another experienced player who can play off guard. Kingz has been a third or fourth option. He only took 8 shots a game last season. Starling was our first, and sometimes it felt like only, option. Starling would be a lot better shooting if he was only taking wide open threes… maybe not Kingz good, but better.Kingz is better than JJ.

Starling jumped from 11.7 shots as a sophomore to 16 as a junior. He also was our de facto point guard much of the season. Nobody is as efficient taking that many shots, while playing out of position.
I would like to see Kingz get more shots and Starling get less if they are playing together next year. Either way, they shouldn’t be sharing point guard responsibilities. Hopefully Fennell is good, and our transfer point is very good.
