Pressure can also be more effective if it’s used sporadically. There was a play in first half when we showed pressure and it freaked out the QB into throwing fast even though we backed off and rushed three. I still think we can bring more at times but it’s hard to know what the strategy is just by watching on tv.

McCord, Meeks, and Barron is the correct game ball recipients. Unsung heroes here are the offensive line who did pretty well pass blocking. NC State was bringing a lot of blitzes and they did fairly well, which with a QB with McCord’s pocket presence is enough. Run blocking is still inconsistent but I loved when we pulled Washington late on the good run by LQA
