I don't know about you guys, but I think it's dangerous to genetically create a super kicker from the DNA of Norton and Dixon and name him "Riley Norton" but apparently, according to the ACC Network announcer, we've gone and done it. Damn that Shafer, trying to play god again.

What's with these kickoffs?

With college touchbacks being brought to the 25, I believe coaches are instructing Norton to get more air under it and keep it out of the end zone. Gives the coverage team more time to get downfield and stop them short of the 25.

I do think the coverage teams have been outstanding this year.
