Nevermind...finally discussed it...is this best team ever? ..Bilas says deepest, but 03 better w melo..phelps says I like there D but want see to see title before annointing them best, also says BE not good enough to test them so may lose early in tourney again...Davis d/c lack of go to suggests k Jo may be it eventually...overall not much quality commentary just things we already know...
My question which conference would test us if not BE? Pac -12? Acc? College bball very top heavy overall this year in all conferences so BE "normal " just like rest of the country.

I was going to to post the same thing---Hubert doesn't know what he's talking about "they don't have that dude" (for end of game situations). I agree with you, and I'll even pull out the word "likely"---Dion is the "dude", dude (Hubert).

I tell you , in a game-end, pressure situation, there are only 3 NON-go to guys in my book. Keita, Xmas, and Scoop. All there rest I would trust.

As a SU fan watching UConn during the end of Kemba's freshman year, I recall watching him going "Why isn't this guy playing more. He is scary good". That is where I see Dion.

This being tested in the regular season is total nonsense. Playing in the BE we will see plenty of good teams even if there are no great teams. Losing early in the NCAAT has nothing to do with not being tested. It's all about match-ups. If we draw another Butler type team that plays good defense, handles the ball well, runs 25 seconds off the shot clock every possession, and forces us to play a half court game we will have a problem. Some years you get matched against that, some years you don't. If we get matched with teams who want to play an open court game, we can beat anyone... UNC and UK included.

That's why I'm happy that we got tested in road games at Providence, at NC State, and even struggled against Marquette at home. We benefit a lot more in the long run from being in tough games and finding ways to overcome and win than we would by blowing teams out.

We got tested by VT, Stanford, and Florida, too [amongst others]. The suggestion that we haven't been tested is garbage.

i picked triche because he has the ability to explode as where scoop isn't as explosive a scorer... I just threw the number 3 out there. In reality i prefer krisjo or dion.
