UNC gave away that game. It sucks how well they played defensively and S. Carolina won. The ACC needs a good win week 1 and I don't think UVA can beat UCLA or VPI beat Ohio State. Louisville over Auburn is the only one left and I don't like Louisville's chances as I like Auburn to win the SEC.

Flipping between four games, I am reminded how many breaks in the action there are in football games. One wouldn't think four games would be in commercial at the same time very often, but it has occurred several times tonight.

Michigan will go 5-7 to 7-5 this year, but they are recruiting like crazy this year. By Year 2 8-4 and Year 3 they will be competing with Ohio State.
I don't know how long Harbaugh will stay there though. He has stay 3 years and turn them around, but if a good NFL job opened up he would probably go.

I think VT and Ville have pretty decent shots actually. Petrino for one has never lost a season opener. Ever.

It wouldn't be Syracuse football season unless fans were on Twitter already fretting about future opponents. Already, Wake looks good (they're doing it against Elon - who went 1-11 in FCS last year and is literally one of the worst teams in all of D1), and CMU looks improved (remember when they beat Purdue 38-17 last year right before playing us and people were nervous as hell?).

other than the qb i thought wf was very mediocre. i did watch cmu and they are a very dangerous team. i believe that su will be in a dogfight,that game is a toss up. cmu played very well and with confidence

CMU played with a super energized crowd against an Oklahoma State team at home. If you can't get up for that its doubtful they will play with more energy this year. I think we will beat CMU by 7-10 points we just need Hunt to play like he did last year against them. CMU had a couple of WRs that looked good but I think we will score on them.

Apparently, Minny was putting up the dramatic gopher on its video screen when TCU was kicking field goals. TCU missed several field goals. Correlation?

I think we win a little better than that, but they do seem to be better than last year. They still have Cooper Rush starting at QB though, and the kid is not a great passer. If we send the heat like we did last year, he's really gonna struggle.

Ok st looked confused all night.. every time they applied pressure the cent mich line collapses.. on offense they dropped too many balls to keep drives going.. cent mich had 2-3 guys with nice quickness and ran a short passing game all day.
