Without knowing the actual facts this is unbelievable.

Don't know all the facts yet, but I kinda agree with Carter. Here in Charlotte there were headlines yesterday after Cam Newton got into a major scrape with some LB during practice. He took some heat from folks saying it shouldn't have gotten that far, but again, this was ON the field.
Its a little immature, IMO, to get into squabbles especially off the field, that get heated enough to come to blows. At some point Geno has to have the insight and maturity to back off & simply walk away.

I tell you what, Ive never been a big fan of Geno Smith's character. I liked him at WVU but I havent been a fan of his after hearing stories of him looking down on his phone and not giving NFL owners undivided attention during meetings and interviews during the draft process. Its something about him that doesnt feel right to me. Definitely some character flaws. Tell me this, what kind of person you have to be if one of your own teammates sucker punches you? The starting QB who is going to help you win games. Not caring about the consequences. I have a feeling other players on the team may feel the same but wouldnt go to the extent of what the other guy did.

A lot of people on twitter are upset about the use of the word "suck punch." Reports are that geno had his hand in IK's face. So in retaliation, IK punched him. I agree- not a sucker punch. Geno is probably douche-y enough to sue IK since his career is over now. Its going to be very expensive for this poor guy.

I'm not a Jets or Geno fan, but IK is an idiot. The guy also jumped a bouncer in a bar and had to be tasked during his college years, clearly some anger issues there.

Secondly, this has nothing to do about leadership. This has to do with an idiot tossing a punch over chump change for these guys. Steve Smith has sucker punched not one but two players in his career and is still in the league. Unreal.
