Got to rewatch the game. Figueiras had Rory in what Brian Knows calls the "upside down". Rory was averaging 4.5 goals a game and Figueiras held him to 2G - one was man-up. Based on the graphic prior to the game and Figueiras' two CTO he is now in 3rd all time and should pass Brandon Mullins before the end of the season.

The penalty on Jake at the end of the 3rd was a joke - clean take away. The 2 on Figueiras in the 4th were also.

Johnnie is back on track which is huge. Need that to continue against Duke.

Admittedly, I only watch so much of other teams but Riley has to be one of the most underrated defenseman in the country. Not super flashy but so damn solid!

Sageder came in when Chuck went out, I suspect it will be Vinnie and Sageder as the 1-2 for Saturday. Filardi as someone noted hasn't played in the last few games and was having some struggles when he got extended run previously ( I am sure he is beyond rusty). Interesting to see if Filardi or D'Agostino get on the field for Sat. Tough game to lose Chuck K for.

There you have it. Cuse certainly not an anomaly and some teams have an even more egregious home field advantage.

Not that the folks trying to push the Dome advantage narrative will really care of course.

Yeah didn't think I've noticed Filardi much at all the past few games. I thought he had some moments but he is still a freshman. They have a bunch of poles so hopefully they have someone who can give them something there this week.

This is where think ya give filardi maby even d’agostino few runs specially in the first half. So least your giving ur main guys more of breather first half so can run them way more in second half where usually matters most. Also think same for ochoa. Don’t think clear if he is hurt or benched. But think that’s little harsh. He hasn’t played since princeton game n tho that was bad we also didn’t play well as whole team. Even penn game wasn’t solid. Think again should give him few runs (ochoa) in first half saving bowen, kittle, spallina, t-mac breather. You keep running these guys so much they’re gonna ware down or get hurt. This is the toughest part of our schedule n when need to be at ur best n healthy n full.

think ochoa is decent enough as long as you put him in spots you know arnt his weakness. Example don’t have him cover speedy guys. He don’t have foot speed or work to keep up. Up till harvard n princeton he has played well. Also those two games short sticks got beat a lot not just him. I also wouldn’t have him press out so far ither when in. Don’t think benching n zero time is best thing to do. Believe still junior n def gonna need him next year n clearly can use more experience. Once again gotta also make sure don’t have him and bowen out on same line. Only time to do that if duke mid line or other teams mid line out has no speedy guys.

Think this is where coaching has to be on point. Cause gotta win these tough games but also can’t run down your guys so come acc tounry or even actual tounry their shot out. Not just offensive guys gotta worry bout defensive also. As def not as deep or potentially as deep on D as we are on O. So gait n company need to be very smart from here on out. Now if gait can be smart or not or be a top great coach navigating thru this. Completely unknown! Think the deeper solid team will go the furtherest while also playing the best 60mins.
