Then when Hop fails miserably he'll want Gmac.

On paper, Hodgson is the better candidate right now. But he is hardly proven and is still a risk. And if he is successful here, a crapshoot as to whether he stays or turns us into Xavier.

GMAC is the lesser candidate on paper, right now. He is also unproven and a higher risk. But, if he would be successful here, you could have strong continuity here for the next 2+ decades.

It really depends, I think, on which criteria are most important to you.

I think that when comparing the two, the $$ factor is the key given that BH has an edge in several areas on paper. How much is he bringing with him him in funding, USF guys coming here and vis versa for GMAC. I definitely could have pause if there was a huge difference that’s pro Gerry.

Gerry would be the worst possible hire for head coach - and I wouldn’t wish the position on him if he was my worst enemy. As a guy I like, I’m praying he doesn’t end up here right now.

First of all, settle down.

Second, culture is shaped by management. We’re talking about basketball here. Whether the dude filing TPS reports or the lady coordinating travel plans likes the HC or not is of no consequence. It’s very likely they do not care.
